About the artist :
In my words, my art is a “visual representation of the noise in my head”. It is the medium by which I express my thoughts and emotions. I also get to share the experiences of those in the community I grew up in. I create images using a digital camera. I represent thoughts and emotions figuratively, employing the use of colours to create some utopian feel, amidst the feeling of melancholia or the suffering that usually inspires my photographs. I’m inspired by the themes of time, hope, youth and freedom. I concentrate on colouring my images and creating the entire idea while shooting, rarely ever manipulating my images. My images are often coloured and edited on my mobile phone.

n.a twinge of sadness that there’s no frontier left, the path has led to a pointless end. Not exactly pointless, just out of vision and a way forward. “Nobody knows! Out there, anything is possible.” ~Curled from the Dictionary of obscure sorrows. I remember creating these pieces early 2022 and in that time, I was drowning in the feeling of melancholia. My mind’s state seemed out of place, but all I could think about was how much I yearned for something new. I doubted everything I had been working on and it all led to this moment where these photographs were created.
